After many years' experience in 4* and 5* Hotels, Resorts and Casinos, in Food & Beverage, banqueting, training and Human Resources, Rob Samuelson entered the world of Hospitality Recruitment in the late 1980's and went on to become the leading Hospitality Recruiter in the Southern African region.

Marie-Louise has a largely corporate background, having gained a wealth of experience as a Personal Assistant to Sales and HR Directors, and Office Manager to various organisations in the world of Sales, Human Resources and Commerce, locally, and most recently in the UK. Her role is that of supporting Rob and the Consultants, as well as managing the office and all administrative affairs including the accounts function, advertising and marketing.

 Andre studied Law at University before gaining extensive experience in the Beverage side of the Hospitality Industry, and his interest in Human Resources gradually developed over the years, bringing him to the team at RSI.Andre's strong administrative, sales, control and procedural background, make him a particularly meticulous Senior Consultant.

 Ashleigh manages our Johannesburg office. She brings with her more than 13 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and has gained extensive experience in Hotel Front office, Reservations, Finance and Human Resources at a leading hotel group in South Africa. Most recently, Ashleigh gained invaluable experience as a product specialist for an award winning Events and Catering company based in Johannesburg.

Pat is the Office Support in the Johannesburg Office and has many years’ experience as a Secretary/PA in the corporate world, both in the UK and South Africa. Although Pat has not worked in the Hospitality Industry, she has 15 years’ experience in the Human Resources Department of a well-known Corporate Company in Johannesburg.  As well as supporting the Consultants, she is also responsible for the accounts side of the business.

Simon Davies works in association with Rob Samuelson International and brings more than 25 years experience from deluxe properties and an impressive record of over 6 years within hospitality recruitment for the UK and international markets.

Michelle is the Senior Consultant in our Johannesburg office and has over 10 years’ experience in the Hospitality Industry. After studying Hospitality Management in Johannesburg Michelle and her husband moved to the UK for 7 years and worked at well known hotels and restaurants in England and Guernsey. On returning to South Africa, she continued working in well known establishments in Food and Beverage, Events and Sales before beginning a career in Hospitality recruitment.
