After many years’ experience in 4* and 5* Hotels, Resorts and Casinos, in Food & Beverage, banqueting, training and Human Resources, he entered the world of Hospitality Recruitment in the late 1980's and went on to become the leading Hospitality Recruiter in the Southern African region. 

 
 

Office Manager. Marie-Louise has a largely corporate background, having gained a wealth of experience as a Personal Assistant to Sales and HR Directors, and Office Manager to various organisations in the world of Sales, Human Resources and Commerce, locally, and most recently in the UK. Her role is that of supporting Rob and the Consultants, as well as managing the office and all administrative affairs including the accounts function, advertising and marketing.


Andre studied Law at University before gaining extensive experience in the Beverage side of the Hospitality Industry, and his interest in Human Resources gradually developed over the years, bringing him to the team at RSI. His strong administrative, sales, control and procedural background, make him a particularly meticulous Senior Consultant.

 

Patti is based in the UK office and brings with her many years of Hospitality experience. She grew up in her parents’ Hotel and went on to run various Hospitality related businesses. For the last 9 years she has been closely associated with the 5* hotel industry in the Middle East and her strong administrative and customer relations background make her an asset.

 

Ashleigh runs our Johannesburg office. She brings with her more than 13 years’ experience in the hospitality industry and has gained extensive experience in Hotel Front office, Reservations, Finance and Human Resources at a leading hotel group in South Africa. Most recently, she gained invaluable experience as a product specialist for an award winning Events and Catering company based in Johannesburg.
 

Darryl Fortmann     has worked in hotels since obtaining his Hotel Management Diploma in 1998. Having gained fantastic experience within 4 & 5* establishments abroad, He has an eye for detail when it comes to the expectations of the industry. Having now settled back in Durban, he is from the ‘old school’ when it comes to customer service, and exceeds far and beyond what is normally expected of him.

 

Simon Davies works in association with Rob Samuelson     International and brings more than 25 years experience from deluxe properties and an impressive record of over 6 years within hospitality recruitment for the UK and international markets. He has achieved many specialist placements for candidates at all levels enhancing their careers and making a terrific impact with a broad range of clients.

 

 Jenna Pullen     is from a hospitality background, having worked in many different areas:- In Spas, Lodges and Hotels, both locally and internationally. She has excellent experience in Front of House, Reservations and Assistant management.  Her current role is Administrative and Consultant support.
