A 5* Resort in Mozambique is looking for an Environment & Activities Manager, to guide marine activities in a stunning island location. The ideal incumbent will be familiar with plants, marine life and birds and in addition, be able to give talks on astronomy, using the Resort’s telescope.  Duties will also include setting up picnics and guiding high profile guests on activities such as snorkelling at coral reefs, drives in a game viewer, shoreline walks, all of which will have an educational emphasis.  A certain amount of hosting will also be required.
Additional duties will entail becoming involved in the local community, e.g. organising a Children’s Day at the local school. This position will suit a young and enthusiastic person who has a Science degree or a Ranger who has studied Marine Biology, who loves the outdoors and is excited by the opportunity to work in such a beautiful environment.  A PADI and PDP qualification will also be a requirement for this position.
